Seelan Gunaseelan is a London based screen actor who has a wealth of experience in film, television and commercial acting.

From the young age of 9, he attended stage school where he first discovered his passion for performing. He has attended  private acting classes as well as group classes with companies such as Stage Coach, Chicken Shed Theatre Company and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts. He has also been trained in Screen Acting at Capital Screen Arts Actor Training Centre with actor Darren Bransford. 

Grease, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Her Majesty The Queen's Golden Jubilee with Chicken Shed Theatre Company are just a few of the production Seelan Gunaseelan has performed in.

In 2010 he was featured in the 2012 paralympics promotional video 'Inside Incredible Athletes' produced by Channel 4 to mark the two year point before the games which aired 29 August 2010.  In 2011, he was cast in a starring role in an anti-terrorism film commissioned by Westminster Council as part of their program for the London 2012 Olympic Games.  That same year, he also had a starring role in the National Geographic Channel’s Documentary series ‘Seconds From Disaster: Mumbai Massacre in which he played one of the three gunmen.  The documentary gave an in-depth investigation into the what lead up to one of the biggest terror attacks to date.  In 2012, he appeared opposite Reece Shearsmith in the critically acclaimed comedy-horror short ‘Him Indoors’ which is set to be released early 2013. 

This year he has just completed filming on a series of films for the British Council.  The films were  a collection of written scenes which display some of the day to day challenges of 'non english speakers' and was produced to educate viewers on what to do in some of the most common everyday situations people might face.
